Do you have a passion for making a difference? Greater Springfield Senior Services is looking for compassionate individuals to volunteer as advocates for residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
As an Ombudsman, you will:
- Visit residents regularly to hear their concerns.
- Address issues affecting their care and quality of life.
- Work confidentially with the Program Director to investigate and resolve complaints on behalf of residents, families, and other interested parties.
This rewarding role is part of a federally sponsored program through the Older Americans Act. Volunteers receive comprehensive training and ongoing support to help them succeed.
